: Menu Driven Pose Prop with 4 Pose Scenes

I have long been a fan of Oscar Wilde, in my teens the poem To L.L. is one of my favourite poems, the last verse I think resonates with everyone on some level:

"But strange that I was not told

that the brain can hold

in a tiny ivory cell

God's heaven and hell."

The amazingly powerful human mind, able to hold, to perpetuate, and to create both our triumphs and our tragedies.

The pose prop is built to enable you to have 360∘camera access to your avatar while posed with both a slide show sequence that takes you through the scenes and a menu driven scene selection that allows you a combination of options for your own art making :)

Who would have thought that I would have become a breedable anything fan! But Meeroos are just way too cute for words... and a mate of mine game me one, so really couldn't let it die, right?

Well anyways, got way attached, and soon after was invited to be apart of the Mee & My Roo Festivale which is happening THIS WEEKEND!!!!

This set, EPIC grass mat, and 5 granny cushions with a different pose in each one is 200L for the set ... for this weekend only :D

You can however buy the cushions separately if you'd like for 50L each.

You might also notice the awesome shrooms, crystals & ruins in the background... they're from Kari who are also at the festivale so get down their quickly!

Pet roos, shop like there is no tomorrow! :D

Backstory: Siddean Munro wanted sit poses that were good. I made some & named them after her. YAY. I drew the backgrounds. I was deathly ill with faeryflu (rare strain of cold that is actually 10X WORSE than manflu) & decided that was a better idea than searching for locations or backdrops. I like them. So I kept them.

Spring Days with Studio Sidhe and Oh My Stars!

Hi Everyone!

Today a really fun hunt starts at Oh My Stars! The theme is April Showers bring May Flowers ( which totally works if you're in the Northern Hemisphere... or so I've been told! LOL).

Being an Aussie and from Queensland in particular, we don't really have four seasons, down south they have more variation, but where I am we pretty much just have summer and winter... just a fun fact I'd thought I'd throw in! :D

Anyways!

I made a wearable multipose prop for the event... a hat! :D One thing I do know about living down under is the sun!

The hat has 5 fun poses so you can look all stylish and blissful while you celebrate the season and for only 10L while the hunt is going on.

Because I suck at hunts, and think that some things should just not be painful; I've made the hunt object (a rain drop) rather large and have the pics of the 5 poses leading you to the hunt item... cause I'm nice heehee

There are some amazing stores that I'm sure you'll enjoy as you hunt around the two Oh My Stars! sims... can't wait to see your pics of all the goodies you'll pick up! :D

Studio Sidhe @ The Little Big Shop Event!!!

This year the The SL Little Big Shop Event is helping The Water Project
. A Brilliant cause who's mission is to bring clean water to over 1 Billion people who currently don't have such an essential resource. They do this one village at a time through building long term sustainable partnerships with the people of the regions in need... BRILLIANT! This is no quick fix solution, they don't just go in and throw a few barrels of water at people for a bit of publicity and then bugger off; they're in there, working with the people to change lives both now and into the future.

It's this cause that also gives this years Little Big Shop Event it's theme...water :)

Our brief was collaborate with another store that we were designated to make two items each, one to be an item with all proceeds going to charity and the other to be for sale at the Little Big Shop Fair.

I worked with a fellow Jewellery maker; Contessa Lacombe of Elemental Jewelry to make a complimentary jewellery set. Contessa made the earrings and necklace and I made the bracelet and the anklets.

All items were to be in keeping with the water theme. We chose the moon as our central design as the moon influences all things water related. We've paired this with a teardrop to symbolise emotions which the moon also influences.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Contessa; she was a pleasure to work with and always had unfailing enthusiasm for our project :) There were a few times where she needed to step out side of her comfort zone and she did it with zeal! I would recommend her to others for collaborations or inclusions in events any day... Great work! :D

I on the other hand was a nightmare to work with I'm sure... I did an excellent impersonation of a decapitated chicken while getting this fair, Fantasy Faire and Pose Fair set up!!! LOL BUT! I think that that also speaks to the caliber of Contessa's professionalism that she could take all of that in her stride and keep going!

In June 2008 I released my Leather Flower Vests and was proudly loitering in my little store in Alpha Centauri ( lets see how many of you remember that store? heehee)store waiting (optimistically) for an influx of people all eager to purchase my lovely new vests... the influx didn't come, but something way better did... or rather, someone; that someone was Achariya Maktou.

Acha had been drawn to my store when she'd seen my post on the feeds and had decided to pop over. I had no idea who Acha was; we'd never met and I always been woefully out of touch with the goings on of life outside of my own faery realm. I had no idea that she was a blogger. We began to chat, and I found an easy rapport sprung up between us, we had a laugh at my total lack of interest in shoes (something I've only recently begun to overcome...thanks Siddean & Jackal!)and spoke about Acha's studies that she was undertaking.

Acha then proceeded to purchase a number of items from store, I think in one fell swoop she'd managed to top my income at that time for a whole week. I was totally amazed and incredibly thrilled by her compliments as she tried on each purchase in the store... in the end wearing a crazy assortment of things that all just seemed to go together... I would later realise that that is a natural skill and trademark of Acha. Acha consistently came up with interesting looks using pieces and designers wares that most people would never dream would work together...and yet, she did it time and again :D

We then got onto the topic of blogs, with Acha saying that she would use some of the things she'd purchased in a post... WOW! I was stoked :D Being slightly left of center in SL and not fitting into any particular subculture or category, you pretty much found getting any sort of press a bit few and far between. A few bloggers would show my things from time to time...but THIS was a blogger who I didn't have to seek out, I didn't have to send a review copy to and hope that they would like my things enough to blog it...this was someone who had sort me out! I was amazed.

Acha later sent me the link to this post HERE.

Achariya Net has since shown many creations from Studio Sidhe and followed the crazy journey that has been my store. I have never forgotten the day that Acha wandered into my little store, and I have always been appreciative of her and her support of my work.

Anyways, I just wanted to share the impact that Acha and her blog have had on me and my store... we've both been enriched by the connection.

Hi everyone!

Today I'm pleased to announce Studio Sidhe's participation in the first Menswear Monday event! :D

Basically the deal is that for one day only men can choose from a selection of creations and designs from some awesome SL brands at a price that won't make them cry...EVERYTHING there is 100L or UNDER :D

I LOVE this as I have often thought the men of SL do get somewhat forgotten... and I admit that while I have almost always had items for men in store, it's a long time between mens releases... I do however let myself off the hook there somewhat as my store name *is* Studio SIDHE (pronounced SHEE) heehee Even so, Men have for years been requesting I make more mens stuff and so, I've made this pose prop...especially for men...

Power Ballad Lighter 69L for Hump Day Happiness TODAY!

Hi Everyone!

Epic moments had during live music events we find are often accompanied by some legend in the audience pulling out their lighter to show just how much it means to them... then other people pull out their lighters and BAM! A whole shared moment of people FEELING THE MUSIC!!!

Can't half tell I've been hitting the live music scene in SL of late hey? haha YES! So many wonderful performances I was fortunate enough to see during the EAHH events to raise funds for Queensland's disaster relief!

So here it is... The Power Ballad Lighter, comes with menu activated animation and chat command to open and light up so you can join the fun :D

This weekend we're having a little bit of fun with our new release; Pandora's Box... it's a 6 scene scripted pose prop that takes you through Pandora's journey of giving into curiosity and finally... saving hope! It comes complete with particle effects and yes, hope *is* included in the box! :D

The Tale of Snow White... version 2!

I am thrilled to be announcing this... some of you might remember the "light" first version of this pose prop from the WILD.Released event last year, or from the UWA Art Challenge recently...

It was after many requests to make a version of this prop that I could sell that I decided to raise the bar (as I am want to do) and challenge myself to make this already unique prop the piece of art that I am releasing officially today, and right in time for Valentines Day!

The set comes with the glass coffin with both the red velvet bedding or a gray tintable bedding, the faery forest backdrop (YES! I did paint that! *puffs out chest proudly*) and light beam with particle effects :D

Hi Everyone!

Today, the 26th of January, is Australia Day, Today we wear the green and gold, have BBQ's, drink beer and thank the powers that be that we are fortunate to live in the Lucky Country...

And we are lucky, yes it would appear that Australia has been pissed on from a great height, but we have the guts, the determination and the spirit to not just drag ourselves back up but to bounce back and do it laughing... how can we do it you ask? ... cause we're Aussies, it's what we do and it's what the world knows and respects us for.

Australia is also a nation always willing to lend a hand where it's needed, and right now, we're the ones who need a bit of a helping hand:

Couples Poses, Fund Raiser & Pose hunt! :D

Hi all,

I've been sending notices about this, but haven't blogged about it till now... my state, Queensland, where I was born and where I live has been hit with extreme floods. 3/4 of the state has been declared a natural disaster area and that area to give you some idea I've heard the size of the area given as being bigger than Germany and France put together... bigger than Texas. Whatever, it's a lot... a lot of land, a lot of people and whole lot of lives effected by this disaster.

Sanura Sakai, proprietor of Sanu and a fellow Queenslander, has got together a wonderful array of people to raise money for the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal. There are a number of awesome events going on that are linked into this and the Extend a Helping Hand Market.

I have made the Daisy Parasol for the event and 100% of the proceeds from those sales is going to the Relief fund. You can also donate through the kiosks you'll find at the market, in the stores of those participating in the market and at a number of other locations around the grid... or you can donate directly through the link above. The support has been overwhelming so far and many more people are joining in to give generously of their creativity, time and money. Thank you!

The 3rd ProPoser Hunt is underway! and Studio Sidhe is of course participating in this great event. The above pic is the couples pose which you can find at #10 on the hunt :D There are some AMAZING poses and pose props on offer in this hunt so I encourage you to participate, you'll see some old favourites and discover some shiny new pose makers in SL! :D

If you've followed the mad capped goings on of Studio Sidhe and the crazy faery behind it all, you'll know that this really *is* a moment when in years to come people will ask you:

"Where were you when Faery Sola announced she was going to try organisation?"

In order to do this I've set up a discount area where the clothes and "does not fit elsewhere " section was, and have set everything insane prices from 1L - 60L in that area. Not everything will go away forever, but most will... I'm using this as a way finding out what kinds of stuff you guys like (things have changed a lot in the last 4 years), so I'll know more in a week or two :D

The sale will however be done by New Years and the stuff destined to be ditched will disappear forever from my store... so if you've been hanging out for something in the store, come and check it out. There are clothes, jewellery, poses, wings and um other stuff that I will probably add to it too LOL.

A Beautiful Unicorn to Celebrate the Grand Opening of a Beautiful Sim

This weekend a wonderful Grand Opening is taking place at the magical sim of Enchanted of Elven Realm.

I was approached by the lovely SeleneLily Galicia some weeks ago who asked me if I could make some unicorn poses for the sim that features unicorns... my interest was piqued, and after visiting the sim and meeting the delightful owner, Nalalie Montagne, I decided to make a unicorn pose prop instead! :D

I've made a copy version and a trans version and both are available at Enchanted for the grand opening at a special introductory price!

Also, 20% of all Studio Sidhe sales from the event will go to the Friends of Animals Fund! :D

The Merry Satyr Comes to Studio Sidhe! :D

Well hello there! :D

You noticed that I've dropped my wings and picked up some awesome new Digi Legs from Gauze did you? LOL Never fear! I'm a modern Faery, I have detachable wings and have them safely tucked away.

Now! What about these legs!?!

Aren't these the most amazing Faun legs you've ever seen? Awesome is what Yukio Ida, amazing creator behind Gauze does, she was after all the person behind those mindblowingly brilliant Mer Avatars.

When Yuki sent me the legs to crash test I was jumping around so excited and immediately got a gazillion ideas for poses to go with them. Luckily I was able to catch a few of these ideas and create them before they flew away again!

I made both a multi-pose prop with three Merry Satyr poses. This is of course menu driven with adjustable pose positions. The stump also comes with wearable Pan Pipes as well as a set of pipes for you to rezz that will give your friends a set of Pan Pipes too! :D

Next, I made a set of five single Merry Satyr poses which you can purchase separately or buy as a set [see below]. You also get a set of wearable Pan Pipes to go with the pose, if buying single poses, don't forget to get your pipes from the Pan Pipe giver near the stand :D

You might recall a jewellery series I started ages ago called the Happy bead collection? I've just gone & found the old blog post to find it's nearly 2 years to the day! LOL spooky. See HERE & HERE.

So it's been AGES, but they've remained favourites in my store and I still like my happy beads so YAY! But almost since the day I released the happy bead collection I've had people asking me to make anklets as well.

WILD.Released! ... LAST DAY!!!!

Hi Everyone!

WILD.Released is coming to it's end. This is the absolute last chance you will ever have to get the 12 amazing prizes on offer.

To finish the hunt we decided to have a party! Moonsong Sim does everything in a rather epic way, and parties are no exception :D We have the awesome Maht Wuyts to DJ for us and there will be random gifts from some of the participating stores given out at the party :D

Now, for the thank yous... there are a LOT. Something like WILD.Released simply does not happen without a great many people involved:

Firstly; I would like to thank my sim-mates at Moonsong; Flippa Stella of Flipside & TearSong Vaughan. Both these ladies have been indispensable.

TearSong Vaughan; organised and got the WILD.Released blog up and running, wrote a good many of the blog posts and did the amazing pics to go with... Thank you TearSong!

Flippa Stella: Flippa is amazing! for those of you that don't know, she and I met on help island way back when... we rezzed on the same day and we've been mates ever since! :D Flippa is just one of those amazing people that just doesn't get fazed by anything. I can be running around in a circle going OMFG!!!! AHHH! What am I going to do???? and she'll be there going "okay, so what do you need to get done?"... ever calm & ever ready to chip in and help out is Flippa!

Flip also built our awesome kiosks for the hunt and more recently, rescued the party when I realised I had stuffed up the timezones (yet again) & planned a party for when I would not be able to attend >.< Thank you Flippa... I cannot express just how much I appreciate you *hugs*:D

Miro Collas: You may know him from Animation Rising, but he is also the mad genius behind the system called Take Your Pick Hunt System we used for the stamp card hunt. This system came out at the beginning of the year. It was this discovery that inspired the whole concept of WILD.Released as I knew it would be the perfect way to showcase stores that are "off the beaten track"... and from all the positive feedback we've gotten, I'd say it was a fair assumption! :D

I'm sure a lot of people out there are reading this and thinking "hmm, interesting... time to organise something similar!"... I say "Go for it!". This is a system that you can make your event be what you want it to be... a word of caution though... we spent months organising this, because we wanted to do it properly, not just have some half arse, thrown together at the last minute type thing. This is a tool for your event, not the event... awesome stores and organisers (I am so putting that in, because we *are* awesome LOL!) do not come included in the box! But that is of course like any event.

I would also like to say thank you to Miro for his amazing customer support. I am the most annoying customer ever, and I can manage to break anything LOL (I didn't actually break the system though) but Miro very patently spent a considerable amount of time answering my questions and helping me problem solve as things came up. He was awesome throughout the whole process... Thank you!

The store owners: The thing that really struck me about the store owners that we invited to this event was their professionalism. In the main this was a very easy group of people to work with. It's been an enjoyable experience working with you and getting to know many of you :D Thank you!

The Bloggers: A big thank you to the bloggers who supported this event; we only had a few but apparently it was enough! :D The bloggers that did show an interest in this event where a very diverse and talented mix, it was a pleasure to see how each interpreted the prizes... Thank you!

The participants: Yup! You guys! the ones who actually made it happen, THANK YOU! seriously, we would have looked like a pack of gits sitting around our stores with lovely "WILD.Released" signs everywhere but with not a lot of point, if you guys hadn't have so enthusiastically supported us and this event :D I got to speak to a lot of people during this last month, and the feedback from the participants was great. What I loved though was how many people told me that they had discovered stores they never knew about before, or had actually been to stores that they had heard of but never actually been to. It seems a lot of people had fun doing this hunt... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! We couldn't ask for anything more :D Thank you!

Yup! I'm in another fair as well... the Pose Fair! Bombshell I know!!! LOL *picks you up off the floor*

This is the first pose fair SL has had (to my knowledge) which abby McDonnagh from Sassafras clued me into :D Thanks Abby!

Below is a group pose set I made especially for the fair, 50% of proceeds from these sales is going to the awesome cause Motivation. This organisation assists people with a mobility issues associated with a disability to improve their quality of life through assistive devices & remediation therapies in third world countries... BRILLIANT!

WILD.Released: Illusions

Hi Everyone!

Today I'd like to show you the beautiful work of Siyu Suen of Illusions. This garland of roses is another of the exclusive prizes for the WILD.Released hunt which is currently going on. You have until the 18th of April to nab this and the other great prizes in the hunt!

I am also wearing a faery dress from a newly discovered store... Caverna Obscura. I was introduced to this store in a round about way by a lovely lady, Softpaw Sommer, when I ran into her at the Fae & Elven Pride Fair (please see previous blog post for more details & pics on that! :D). Softpaw was wearing the most awesome faery dress ever! (which I blatantly inspected & got the creator name from heehee) and off I went in search of this wondrous dress!

Now as many of you *might* have guessed, I actually know a little something about fae & fae lore... and the thing that first impressed me about this store was that the faery outfits feature things of nature... which obviously fae use as a source for their clothes (if they choose to wear any clothes at all of course), or they use scraps of things that they find around the place :D. So when I landed at Caverna Obscura & found outfits made out of toad stools, bark & flower petals as well as scraps of material I was all YES!!!! WOOOT! REAL fae clothes! and I was dancing around & yelling at my mate Flippa in IM's with "ZOMG! You have GOT TO SEE THIS!!!", and of course she TP'd over, and was impressed too heehee. I bought a couple of outfits and have got to say, I was impressed with the vendor pics... but actually wearing the outfits... WOW! :D

So yes, I am a VERY happy faery today *dances*.

Hi Everyone!!!

A wonderful fair started on the 2nd of April... I am very pleased to be a part of an event that is as fun, vibrant, friendly as the Fae & Elven Pride Fair!

I have made a very special two-fae pose that works for either woman or men faeries :D This set is available at the fair until it closes on the 11th of April... but please don't just come down here just get this pose there is sooooo much to see and do! I've taken a couple of piccies to show you just a sample of the place :D

This is one of the welcome areas... you can get the t-shirt I'm wearing for a bargain 5L and also pick up a free goodies pack which includes the wings shown below :D

I fell into the pond near my booth at the Fae Circus area and found underneath the waves a Mer area and it's beautiful! :D I also nabbed this wondrous Poseidon's Chariot from *The Golden Thorn* . There really is no better way to travel around a fae fair heehee :D

I highly recommend that you visit this amazing place before it goes away...

well hello there...

yes it's me again...

I have decided that the real reason behind my decision to run the WILD.Released hunt for a whole month, is so I would have heaps of time to fart-arse around (aussie speak for procrastinate and generally waste time)... which I must say I am VERY accomplished at *puffs out chest proudly* :P

I have however, finally managed to take a piccy of this wonderful outfit from Silent Sparrow... I've worn it around SL for about two weeks, hahah (I don't like to rush things LOL). The pic that I did finally manage to get is a story in itself...

The other night I was contemplating taking some pics of this hunt prize when I randomly got an IM from Tomo; Genius behind Little Boy Blue and a fun mate who can always be depended upon for completely random stuff... example, he dials me up with FAERY! bubble wrap! you need to come and play! ... (expurgated version of what he actually said; I take artistic license cause this is my blog *shrugs*) So I tp over, play with mad cool stuffs, then somehow we got onto the topic of sushi... because bubble wrap --> Sushi, is a TOTALLY logical progression *nods*.

So off we go to the most brilliant Sushi place in SL... It's AMAZING. You sit down & grab plates of sushi stuff off the conveyor belt as it comes around, and get your mate (Tomo in this case) to be the waiter... it's one of those things that you have to see for yourself really, but the scripting and animation are just awesome :D Go HERE & catch the elevator upstairs to find the sushi bar :D

Okay, so that explains the chop sticks my avi is holding heehee aaaaaand makes a nice segue to explaining Benny, the cute little friend on my shoulder... this is Benny's story from the notecard that comes with him:

Benny is a very confused panda. You see, he's always been a little deaf, so he thinks his name is 'Bunny' and he won't hear otherwise. He does get very confused as to why grass doesn't appeal to him, and why all of the other bunnies are so much smaller and run away from him. His favourite bunnies are the black and white ones.
He has a grand time in the Spring, being able to wear his best ribbon and hide eggs. He loves the warm sun and the colours of the flowers, even if they make him sneeze. He loves chocolate, even if it doesn't agree with him, and he is pretty phobic of peeps, especially the chicks.
Won't you give this confused panda a happy home, preferably peep-free? He promises to be tidy and to share his chocolate with you if you will.

Okay, so up to this point, I was pretty much sorted, I had the outfit, the hair,the jewellery, the skin & the boots... BRILLIANT! Just had to get a good shot... when Aems; Aemilia Case - Creative genius behind Philotic Energy, drops me the Rowe Hat/Hair that features in the New Crazy Arse Hair Hunt... the colour shown isn't the one in the prize, that's HERE and is BRILLIANT.

I have been bugging Aems since forever to make more top hats with hair... her Noah style is my absolute favourite hat/hair ever! and this one I think rivals even that (bold words, I know, but check it out) :D

And lastly... The location... Catnip! where else would you go if you had the most awesome Mad Hatter-esk hat in the world?

WILD.Released Prize Preview :D

Okay, so many of you know that I have been a long time fan of Discord Designs... have even done some work with Kalli (creative genius behind said label). Kalli has been working for ages on these awesome new textures she's launching for the WILD.Released hunt, and I love them, they're not your usual dodge & burn jobs, although yes, they can be lovely too. These are really different to what you usually see in SL, they pull the various colours our of the strands of hair just like RL hair does :D

Okay, so that's a little bit about the textures...now check the style! My RL person is much like my SL avi, we both have zero interest in primping for hours in front of a mirror, so tend to have hair that is kind of messy, and care free LOL and this style is soooooo me. Kalli has nailed the way hair falls, how it goes just a little bit flat at the center top of your head and how the tendrils of hair that didn't quite make it into the ponytail fall...LOVE it, attention to detail like that gets me every time!

I'm also showing some of the pose prop laptops made by new comer Milli Santos, Milli has been around SL for a bit, but her store No Strings Attached is a new comer to the pose making arena. I REALLY like these poses. Very natural, there are a whole selection to choose from with all the every day annoyances, hilarity and quirky humour that life with a PC will bring you :) No Strings Attached is now part of the Oubliette crew, so go check her store out! :)

Once Upon a Time...

There was a woman by the name of Snow White, and she had a bit of mishap involving a wicked witch and a poisonous apple... as you do when you eat stuff given to you by randoms on the street... just saying :P

Luckily for Snow white she was a bit of a looker (Aussie slang for someone who is attractive) & was packed up in a glass coffin and put on display. Had she been somewhat less easy on the eye she might well have been buried straight away, and the tale would have ended pretty much there.

Snow White had a fella, who was a handsome prince... handy. Where is my handsome prince? Bastard Fates! *shakes fist*... oh oops, yeah right, this story is not actually about me, so moving right along... Prince charming hears the news, finishes his beer and then rushes to be by the side of his beloved Snow White... okay everyone...1, 2, 3... AWWWWWWWWWWW!

And THAT's where WE begin our part of the tale!:D

This is a VERY special pose prop, it's been MONTHS in the making (seriously; MONTHS), the glass coffin is scripted to take you and your other half/mate/person who just happened to be available, to jump on the other pose ball... through the three scenes shown above :) These are sweetly emotive and tell the story of how it all ended for Prince Charming and Snow White... You can have your happy ending OR if like me, you like an ending with a twist in the tale (which you may have gathered from the first part of this post...) there is an alternate ending for you :D So four scenes in all!

I would like to say a special thank you to Ted Cornell, the scripting genius who created the scene builder scripts necessary to bring this pose prop into reality. Ted is amazing, we first worked together on the texture change version of the Music Box that I released a few months ago.

This pose prop is a prize for the WILD.Released hunt starting on the 20th of March, 2010 it will only be available for the duration of the hunt which ends on the 18th of April.

So what is WILD.Released? I'm sure you've been hearing people mention it by now or seen the ads for the other prizes on flickr here. This is event will showcase the work of these participants shown below:

The participants are, I think you'll agree, some of SL's most creative and brilliant creators who's success in SL has been due to their creativity, skills and most importantly their passion. Creators who dared to be wild; and bring you... WILD.Released!

Alice Loitering Among the Shrooms @ Studio Sidhe

Hi everyone!

As I'm sure most of you know, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland has been released and everyone is back to talking about this classic tale :D

A while a go a shout out was given for creators who wanted to be a part of an event in SL to celebrate the release of the film. I jumped on it as an excellent opportunity to do two things I've wanted to do for a long time... make my own 'shroom poses and use my clock face texture that I made ages ago for a pic on my flickr stream for something in SL! So hooray! both missions accomplished with this pose prop! :D

Sadly the event is for all intents and purposes canceled, as I was informed today, so while that is sad thing, at least the other designers and myself still have our creations to release :D

So lets talk about the shrooms! *grins* They can be either a pose prop or they can be used as a feature for your garden. With 6 fun poses and the prop itself being of a quality and style I'm sure you've come to recognise as being distinctly Studio Sidhe. You're bound to have heaps of fun with this! :D

Community Spirit Blogger Challenge: Zai Lynch

Cajsa IM'd me the other night and asked me if I was interested in doing this blogger challenge...YUP! I love any opportunity to celebrate our unsung heroes!

Zai Lynch is a mate of mine from quite a ways back, she immediately sprung to mind for this. You see Zai is not one of the drama set, she's not in a fashion clique and you may never have heard of her... but Zai is amazing. When I first met her she was heavily involved in all sorts of volunteer services to help other residents, one of these was the Mentoring program.

Zai later became active as a German speaking Linguist and has done a lot to break down the language barriers in SL.

You're probably reading this and thinking that she must be someone that doesn't have a lot going on in RL, and you'd be wrong, she has a very full RL... but the truly amazing thing about Zai is that she *makes* time to help others. For as long as I have known Zai this has been true.

I don't catch up with Zai anywhere near as often as I should, I really have no excuse, I just suck basically. But she is often in my thoughts, and I check her wiki from time to time to see what latest craziness she's been up to... oh! that's the other thing about Zai, besides being a true altruist, she also is hilarious, she has a gadget for every occasion and it's ALWAYS fun, and she just has a wacky kind spirit that makes me smile.

I raise my glass to the Zai's of SL, because without people like her, SL would not be a place that I would want to stay or spend time in.

There are of course two categories for this contest; Unedited & Unedited. We do this so that everyone can join in the fun and we acknowledge that photography in its own right is an art form. Big things this week @ Studio Sidhe :D

Hi Everyone!

I have a couple of things to tell you about today!

First up! Shoes and Accessories Hunt!!! :D This is set to be BIG! I had a look through the participant list and I was all wow, so going to be doing this myself! LOL and yes you may even be treated to another one of my oh so stylish fashionista hunt reviews!LOL (watch this space!)

A bit about my offering for the hunt... this is officially my very first handbag, and yes, BOMBSHELL that it's a hippie bag! *picks you up off the floor* and is unisex. It has a resize script, so you can get it to fit you :D It's also called Sunbury... fun fact: You know that little concert America had outside Woodstock in NY state in 1969? Yeah well Australia (land from whence I come), had it's very own music festival, but annually, 'cause we just have way too many great bands to fit into one weekend! *ducks and runs* (I just cant help but stir heehee). Okay, it was an annual event that lasted three years, but GO US!!!

In other news!

OMG! seriously, there are no words for just how EPIC a saga this special edition texture change music box was to bring into reality. I sooo wanted to have this ready and out with the single texture boxes, but it looked nearly to be an impossible task which I had all but given up on until a lovely man by the name of Ted Cornell came along and offered his help.

Thanks to Ted this special edition of the music box is texture change, so you can choose between all 7 designs, and still has the animated box feature which rocks and has 9 beautiful ballerina poses for you to choose from a menu :D It's a very detailed pose prop and I am quietly confident that there is nothing like this on the grid, because no one else would be as crazy as me to even attempt this! LOL

But because this box looked likely to never happen the way I had envisioned, but is miraculously here... I'm offering it for the special price of $500L until the 14th of February (after that you will have to basically give me your first born in order to get one) so I do recommend that you get in and get yours before V-day ;)

Hi everyone,

Yup, not long now till Christmas... actually started my RL pressie shopping today, which is so not like me to be so organised! Go me!

I've had a very busy week in SL, lots and lots and lots of fun, and what do I find the most enjoyable pastime in sl to be? Why creating of course! My newest releases have been added to the Lucky Dip which is still just 40L a go.

Revolution anyone?

Revolution! A time of change, often scary, but! The energy of revolution, the passionate dialogue, the shear power of getting a whole body of people together to speak with one voice, everyone bringing their experience, expertise, ideas and dreams to the table... everyone acting for a common goal, with hope for the future... amazing stuff!

I am in my own small way, a part of such a revolution, to sit in and participate in discussions with people equally as passionate on this subject as I am, is heady stuff, you just can't help but feel energised... a feeling of being in the right place at the right time... WOW. A true high, and one that I hope I never come down from LOL and THIS is what inspired this pose set, everything I want to say, but said in pixel body language heehee

The second release is something I started well over a month ago, piece to work in with all the Christmas stuff going on.

Hi everyone!

Yeah it's been an AGE! Well it feels like that... RL has been crazily busy, but finally I'm Back!!! :D

For my first post back, I have a bit of a combo deal, it's a fashion blog BUT it's also to announce my new release... weird? well yeah, I'm a content creator that does on occasion do fashion blogs, so am combining the two here LOL Why? because the new release I was set to blog, inspired me to make some hand chains and gloves to go with it ;)

Okay, so on with the outfit!!!

The dress is perfect! The release from Evie's Closet for the 12 Days of Christmas event... her day was day 7, the one with the swans, and for it she made this spectacular dress (shown without many of the prim embellishments that are awesome, but didn't suit the look that I was going for with the pics)in white and as shown, black.

The thing I love about Evie's creations, besides the style and consistent quality, is how versatile they are. For whatever reason, many of Evie's dresses just seem to bring out the inner goth in me and I LOVE IT! LOL

For the rest of the outfit... The hair which I am in love with is from a hair store that's been around a while but is new to me, Penumbra which I discovered on one of my jaunts to Trap at the Twilight sim. The demo's themselves completely won me over, the way all the prims where a sample of all the colours available looks awesome on these hair styles! I'd love to see this for sale with the other colour selections :D *adds to my Christmas wish list to Santa*

The shoes are lovely! (feel free to zoom in on those), they're from Lazy Places! Fun but stylish! The choker is from Flipside, it's awesome... I love Flippa Stella's prim work, the woman has great skills :D The skin is a custom recolour of Sphinx from Trap (sorry, not available for sale). The poses used in both pics here are from the awesome 5ifth Order (my first stop for action poses) aaaaaaaaaaaand... last but not least! My new release...

Evangeline Miles of Evie's Closet has released Elizabeth. A beautiful gown of exquisite detail and craftsmanship... I know, TOTAL Captain Obvious moment given we're talking about Evie's Closet...when has she released something that is not perfection itself?

The gown is awesome, I love the swishing skirt movement... that's one of the things that gets me every time with Evie's creations... the natural flow and movement of her skirts. I always find myself looking for a dance ball so I can watch the skirt go SWISH! heehee LOL so decided to include a piccy of my avi dancing at Moonsong.

Evie teamed up with Elizabeth Tinsley (notice the name did you? good, cause the dress *is* named for Elizabeth, so you are very clever) who made some spectacularly detailed and delicate jewellery to go with the gowns. The clever thing about this collaboration is that Elizabeth has given you two options for the collar and necklace, you can wear the necklace without the collar... easy. OR you can wear the collar with the necklace already attached, so you don't have to worry about conflicting attachment points! I love that sort of forethought! :D

I work with young people, I am a teacher, I have bathed the blood, I have dressed the wounds, I have been the ear for students who felt so out of control of the pain in their lives, so overwhelmed by everything they were feeling, that they have told me they just wanted *something* to focus on, something that they could be in control of, even if it caused them harm. I have wept for these young people, & I have railed at a world that should protect young people from life experiences that drive them to this... It is for these reasons, that I support such a worthy cause.

If I could arm people going through any or all of these things, it would be with the ability to get their arms around who they are, and be able to truly love who they are ... from the heart.

When Less is NOT More

Okay, so my grandmother always told me; "Less is More", and generally, I agree... except for today!!! :D

Yup, this outfit I've put together is totally over the top, totally full on and totally lush :)

So what inspired me to break my granny's simple rule you might ask? This hair! OMG LOVE IT! Kalli from Discord Designs sent it to me the other day and when I put it on I was just WOW! awesome! You may know Kalli's work with braids, and she does do brilliant ones... I've worked on some jewellery to go with those braids... so I can tell you as one that has stared for hours on end intensely zoomed in on them, they really are THAT good, not many things can stand up to that sort of scrutiny. But I think that this hair shows you that she's not just about braids. The way she has variegated the colours is so well done, and the style itself is lovely.

The outfit is from Schadenfreude, Allegory Malaprop does great work. It's one of those shops that you can just click & buy everything there without going "hmm, hope the seems match", her stuff is always quality. The boots are from Bettie's another store that I love.

The rest of the outfit was put together through a total adventure of TP'ing to stores that I had never been before... I had fun!

I went to Mandala for the first time ever, I HIGHLY recommend that place! I make jewelly (as I'm sure you know) so I tend to be a bit of a jewellery snob, this place left me going WOW! the attention to detail and the originality of the pieces there is just amazing! The choker & necklace where a real find, some great stuff to be found at PERTURB/ation The waist scarf or stole as it is advertised in store is from =IZUMIYA=

And lastly, the skin, it's from Trap, and just rocks, well you can see that for yourself... another store that I will be going back and back and back to!

Oh hai!

Yes, I know I went "pfft, I am so not a fashion blogger", but I have decided that given that I have exceptionally good taste (obviously), I should share this with my fellow shoppers :)

This outfit is not named after me... sad over site I think you'll agree? LOL But when I first saw this outfit by Silent Sparrow I decided it was a must have. I'm not a big shopper when it comes to fashion, I tend to spend my L's on gadgets, sculpts (I have a *slight* addiction there), landscaping & general fun quirky stuff.

So to get me out of my workshop it really has to catch my attention, and this did... I love the hand drawn detail that hyasynth Tiramisu puts into her designs. I'm a definite fan of hand drawn stuff.

The skin is another favourite by La Sylphide. Stephanie Misfit creates some beautiful skins, but the thing that sets her work apart for me is her very strong feminine faces... just glorious!

The hat/hair is an old favourite... Noah by Philotic Energy. This hat/hair combo is not currently available as it is having a little make over & a freshen up. It's brilliant now, so I can't wait to see what it's next incarnation will be! You can check out Aems' current styles at her new store Fusemelon.

Oh hai!

I don't usually do fashion blogs, well actually, I don't think I ever have before, but first time for everything! And I know that Caj, Gidge, Acha, Mourna, Tear & Amyla will be going "Has the world gone mad??? FAERY IS BLOGGING!!! *dies*"

But THIS outfit I felt needed some Faery bloggage... for two reasons:

First Reason: The dress is the spectacular new creation of Evie's Closet... a name I'm sure you'll agree that is synonymous with style and quality.

Second Reason: This outfit is named for MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! heehee

I am, to be totally serious now; so completely honoured by this tribute and beyond touched... to know that someone thinks enough of you that they would want to name one of their creations after you; well it's massive. Is there a greater compliment? And for that creation to be made by one of the best designers in SL... I'm floored! There is really no other way to put it.

Take a step back in time...

This is a gown that I have been working on for what seems like forever! LOL But I am really happy with the result :)

As you know, I don't make clothes often, and when I do it's because I simply can't find anything in SL like what I want... so I make it LOL

The gown features lace detailing on the bodice, hem and cuff frills and is finished with some charming pearl buttons. There are two skirt options, with and without a tie back and everything is of course mod/copy so you can adjust it to your avi. I hope you enjoy this peak into an era of gentle feminine beauty.

Studio Sidhe... A new adventure :D

A pic I took while taking a few moments to contemplate the move.

For those of you that missed the news... Flippa Stella [Flipside] & myself have moved to our very own sim!

It's called Moonsong. Named in honour of the Goddess Moon. A multi-pose prop which you might remember featured in the collaborative photographic competition held by Evie Miles of Evie's Closet and Studio Sidhe a few months ago. It was my first project I worked on when I purchased Poser earlier this year and it was a raging success... so much so, that now I have a sim! haha crazy isn't it?

My pose making has been so warmly welcomed by the people of SL which has given me the confidence to branch out and expand. To be honest, I'm totally floored by the reception; given there are so many awesome and well established pose makers here. I am touched and humbled at the support I have, and appreciate it beyond words... thank you :)

While poses are something that I have taken to like a duck to water, I will continue to let my imagination and creativity lead me to make whatever it is I am inspired to do... be that jewellery, accessories, quirky fun stuff, clothes or whatever.

I would like to say heart felt thank you to Glyph Torok, our previous land lord & truly beautiful lady in every way. She has just been amazing & I have so enjoyed and appreciated being a part of the Chocolate Orange experience (We sank a pirate ship off the coast of Moonsong as a homage to Chocolate Orange :D)

I would also like to say a special thank you to Elizabeth Tinsley and the Oubliette crew for inviting us to move our sim next door... we are going to have loads of fun!!! :D

I look forward to seeing you at the new sim, you'll see my new mains tore and go "what the???" I'm sure! Sorcerer's Staff... add some magic to your day :D

This is a very special release, and of course has a story... but first for those who don't like stories and just want to cut to the chase:

This pose prop is wearable, menu driven multi pose and comes with both a left and right handed version of the staff :D 4 poses + plus one staff hold pose, so a total of 5 poses in all in each staff. The staffs are mod/copy so you can fit them to your avi and mod the staff to suit your pic.

Well, I went down to Siddean's store, SLink, when the Revolution Coats came out...who didn't? they are HOTNESS! and got the Chocolate one for some promo pics I did with the Kaleidoscope set I recently released as well as the collaboration between Sid and I... (the elf ears with the Kaleidoscope earrings), so that was all good, I was all ooh, How chic am I? but then randomly, as only seems to happen to me, I accidentally had hair named after me, done by Hair Solutions, and the lovely Kia from said business sent me the hair... so there I was running around my crazy, yet fun little corner of SL; feeling like a Million dollars in my SLink coat & my very own hair and thought OMG! I'm like some windswept sorcerer in this outfit!!!! and of course, HAD to make a staff and poses to go with... which of course meant I had to go back to SLink and get the coat in black (*nods*, yes, it really was necessary... one must have pretty stuff). So there you have it... my rather long winded ramble about how this latest pose prop came to be.

I would also like to give a BIG thank you to Achariya Maktoum (both Lady Acha and Boy Acha) for taking the pics for the ads, she is a lovely woman and way talented. THANK YOU ACHA!!! :D

I am VERY pleased to announce the release of a collaborative effort between myself and Siddean Munro of SLink.

Hi everyone!

Who's been super slack at updating their blog? .... MEEEE!!!! heehee

But I did just want to let you know that the Slice of Summer watermelon hunt is winding down, so if you haven't already, hurry in to get your couples pose from our main store (pictured above).

In other news, I've also made a version of the bell and chain anklets with a bell sound on walk. This version comes with both the with and without sound version of the anklet.

Hi Everyone!

I have got to say that taking a break from RL work certainly helps me get my SL to-do list done!!! :D

As many of you might remember I made some elven anklets to go with SLink Barefeet a little while ago, and have been *meaning* to get around to doing some more anklets!

Making the elven anklets was great fun but also it came with the bonus of meeting and getting to know a truly talented and lovely lady; Siddean Munro. Siddean is the creative force behind SLink. She was more than happy for me to make anklets that could be worn both with her prim feet (for those of us that love them) and with system avitar feet... and she also encouraged me to do more!

Headpieces for M'lady?

Hi everyone,

I have continued with my theme of gold and silver jewellery this week, with finely detailed, elegant and ultra feminine headpieces with bell & teardrop embellishments!

The headpieces have four options in both the silver and the gold, but rather than sell each separately I've packed them together. Why? well there will always be times when you'll want dangly bits hanging down to frame your avi's face and times when a hair style that you choose to wear would be better with just the one hanging piece... it just gives you more options without having to run back to the store to buy the headpiece that would suit your look of the day.

I've shown a very elegant look in the above pics, but as demonstrated very effectively by Achariya Maktoum in her recent blog post [HERE] it can also add a funky element to your outfit :)

I've made these headpieces so that they can be worn with your nose chain with bells... and they do look great together (if I do say so myself! LOL).

The headpieces are copy and scripted to resize.

Wow, okay, I am sooo excited, I have made my very first model pose "set" *puffs out chest proudly*

I was totally inspired to do this from a look a mate and I put together for a blog post made out of a funky faery outfit from Evie's Closet and some awesome accessories from Flipside (you'll see in the ad pic below!)

Hi Everyone!

Time is running out to get your entries in for the photo competition. I've spoken to a few people who sadly have been thinking that it's a really difficult competition. It's really not, all you need is:

* Goddess Moon Pose prop from Studio Sidhe
* Isabella gown or ballet outfit from Evie's closet, AND
* Your imagination!!!

I've copied & pasted the conditions & rules of entry which are available both at Evie's Closet and at Studio Sidhe below so you can see how easy it is:

The Moon Faery Photo competition is brought to you by Studio Sidhe, Evie's Closet, the letter 'R' and the number 8.

The rules are simple and as follows:

* You must be a member of BOTH Evie's Closet AND Studio Sidhe's update groups... Both businesses do have a subscriber option if you're worried about group spaces.

* The photo's taken ~must~ feature:

- At least one avatar wearing an Isabella dress/gown in any colour from Evie's Closet.
- At least one avatar posed using the Goddess Moon pose/s from Studio Sidhe.

These two items should be the 'hero' of the composition. The rest is entirely up to you. Apply lashings of your own creativity and imagination!

Poses, Hair Fair and MORE Poses @ Studio Sidhe

HUGE stuff afoot this week!!! Collaborations with some awesome creators, poses, and way more!!!

First up. Hair Fair! There is this mad awesome hair maker there by the name of Kallisti Burns, she's the creator behind Discord Designs and she has made some MINDBLOWINGLY fantastic braids! I've made some funky rainbow beads to go with one of her Hair Fair exclusive styles, Yolanda. You can get the hair at Hair Fair and the beads at either Discord Designs or Studio Sidhe.

Next up, another collaboration... this one with Saiyge Lotus of Balderdash:

This is a very unique pose set with four individual poses and four person group pose. Eight poses in all. This will be a definite feature in your lake, pond, or wherever you choose to hang out with your friends in SL.

This was a LOT of fun to make, Saiyge has made the fantastic moon and star sculpts and the the beautiful textures while I went mad with the the poses. To get an idea of the poses, see the pics below:

OMG!!! I am soooo excited to be announcing this! I have news; I bought Poser!!!! *happy dance*

It's been something I've been saving up for ages, so to finally get it has been very exciting :D

I also happened to be doing a lot of moon gazing during the last full moon... put the two together, and you get my latest release!

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. The moon is copy/mod so you can play with textures, rip the poses out of the moon and use them elsewhere if you wish AND the pose positions are adjustable... so it's about as flexible as you can possibly get.

Evangeline Miles is a mate of mine, she also happens to be the amazing mind, skill and talent behind Evie's Closet. I don't give praise lightly, and those that know me will tell you that I tell it how it is. I KNOW how much time and effort goes into Evie's creations, I know the care and attention that she gives to each piece... anyone with an observant eye can see the quality of her work.

Sadly Evie has been having a rough time of it, it appears that not everyone can appreciate such fine work, beautiful detailing or the effort, skill and talent that goes into making her gowns or just how ridiculously under priced her gowns are...

So I sent out a call in plurk to the woman on my friends list yesterday and was heartened by the response to join me in a little project to show how much we care about Evie and what her work means to us.

I was inspired by a comment on plurk that someone made; "when I wear Evie's dresses, I feel like a princess" (or words to that effect) so I wanted a way to show Evie that there where people in SL who do appreciate her work, and what it means to them.

So we came up with a group pic... always a hard thing to round up a bunch of people in SL, but many people wanted to be a part of this! Thank you to everyone who participated and to everyone who sent messages supporting Evie :)

So thank you everyone and most of all, Thank you Evie... for making these spectacular gowns and for putting your heart into your creations.

The Silver Lake Project

Hullo. I am here on Faery's blog to let you know about some exciting plans in the works for my sim, Silver Lake, as well as my store the not particularly famous Ziggy's Quirks. Silver Lake has been around for three years now, and it's time for a full overhaul. Not to mention Ziggy's Quirks which has been bopping around for nigh on 5 years in one form or another. It's time to polish up the bears and add some new funnifications to the SL world. And yes, make the store bigger better and more.. more!

With Shelly Toonie of Moonshine Fine Clothing moving on to bigger and better things, the time is right to create a new and frankly tinglemaking place for you to explore, hang out and shop. Unique boutique stores will be available for rent, so keep your pretty eyes peeled for that if you're in the market for some super awesome rentals, and who isn't?

New Release @ Studio Sidhe: Elven Anklets

Hi-ya Everyone!

I was recently asked if I had any elven jewellery, the fellow that asked was looking for anklets to go with his new prim feet... I didn't, but got inspired! I've been busy working on these anklets for a bit over a week and I'm very pleased with the results :D

These anklets come as a pair and are unisex so they work well for both ladies and mens avi's... a thank you to Sasy Scarborough for pointing out to me that not just people with prim feet would want to wear these, and suggesting I script them to resize :D

The anklets will for that reason say "no modify" in your inventory, but the prims themselves remain modifiable for those that wish to do things manually... as always I suggest you take a copy BEFORE you get mod happy! (ESPECIALLY with these!!!)

The wings featured in the ad have been put out as a Studio Sidhe group gift, which you can find to the left of the entrance to the jewellery section of the store. Just wear your group tag to grab it :D (if you're not a member of the inworld group just touch the sign above the gift to join)

WOOOT! Knew I'd get you're attention!!! Yup, it's been a LOOOOOOOONG time coming, but here you are... a release just for the boys!!! Now dont say that everyone forgets you, k?

And no, no crocs where harmed in the making of this set... otherwise it would just be scary and gross, involving me wrestling crocs and defanging them, which I will not do even for the boys! I did however make the croc tooth texture ;)

Okay, so you might have heard... I was recently put on the auction block to raise money at the Date for Down Under Auction to raise money for the Red Cross Victorian Bush Fire Appeal... so of course I had to find a FLASH outfit, which I found at Evie's Closet... a beautiful dress called "Aventine" ... but I had nothing to wear with it! so I came up with a bangle to match the lovely gown I was wearing... Evie liked it so much she sent me the rest of the colours to make matching bangles for those as well!

A special thank you to Evie for helping me get decked out so wonderfully for the auction... sadly because of extreme I wasn't able to showcase the beautiful skirt and sleeves, people had to make do admiring the quality glitch pants and top! nor sadly, could I show off my bangle LOL oh well (such is the way of these events!). Anyways, a great time was had by all and a whole lot of money got raised for the Victorian Bush Fire Relief appeal! Great work everyone!!!! :D

Okay, so lucky atm Australia may not seem, with vicious floods destroying thousands of hectares of farmland, homes, & businesses and cutting off whole communities in central and northern Queensland. While at the same time the worst natural disaster our country has ever seen in the bushfires still destroying tracts of bushland, homes, families and loved ones in Victoria. The death toll currently stands at 181 people, the number of homes lost is in the thousands, and still it goes on.

So why are we so lucky you ask? We've got mates! and we see this very strongly in the awesome response of the SL community! It's really heartening to see so many people get behind this. The latest update on funds raised SO FAR is: $5,936.78 AUD!!! are you floored? I am! Keep up the good work!!!! :D

I've finally had a chance to go shopping for some absolutely fabulous items made some of the most talented & generous creators in SL!!! the selection shown in the pics is by no means all of them, in fact it's a fraction of them... I need to do more shopping! But I wanted to show off some of the things my friends Flippa Stella & Ziggy Quirk have gotten already!

Truth Hair No. 4 Faerified for the Victoria Bushfire Relief Fund

Hi everyone,

As I write this the official death toll in Victoria has reached 181 people... the fires are not over.

The latest figure I have for the amount of money raised in SL to help the survivors rebuild their lives and communities is in the"first 48 hours: 626,000 Lindens, and 2,600.00 USD = 3,962.93 AUD" (Autumn Hykova). An amazing effort so far! but I ask you to not let the momentum slide; this is the worst natural disaster in Australia's history.

What makes this worse (hard to believe it could be worse right?) this is not the only natural disaster going on in Australia right now; whole communities in Northern Queensland have been flooded a couple of times in five days & are expecting another deluge at the end of this week... people there have lost everything, but their lives, and yet these people are donating to the Victorian relief effort! So please consider when you see the footage and hear the news of the horrific magnitude of the Victorian bushfires; Australia's resources where already being stretched by efforts to assist the communities in Northern Queensland...

We still need your help.

I have just finished my latest contribution to the cause is a scarf to go with Truths beautiful hair made specifically to assist the Victorian Bushfire Relief fund. The texture used to make this scarf has it's own story relevant to what is happening in Victoria right now, to read the story behind it follow this [link]. For those of you that don't know, I'm an Aussie... How you could have missed that, I'm not quite sure, cause I'm proud to be Australian, one of the things that makes me so proud is that when we see people in trouble, in need of a hand, we help them out. It doesn't matter where they're from, if we know them or not, or even if we have some personal connection to them... That's what we're known for, that we care.

Now we're asking you to help out the poor bastards in Victoria, you've probably seen it by now, there is one rip roarer of a bushfire going through that state, and it's merciless... It's killed nearly 200 people at the time I write this.

Thanks to Autumn Hykova & Dakota Buck, there is now a Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Relief Appeal in SL. You can find a donation booth in my store, and heaps more around the grid as more and more people jump on board. And you can also purchase the pendants I recently released (see below). 100% of proceeds from these sales is going to the relief fund. If all that is not for you then I encourage you to donate directly to Australian Red Cross .

Yup it's true! About a week ago now, Kalli at Discord Designs approached me by way of TOP SECRET self exploding private plurk! (k, totally kidding, plurk did not explode, but adds to the epicness of it all, don't you think? LOL) To ask me if I'd be interested in doing some "augmentation" of her awesome braids! I of course said yes, cause her stuff ROCKS! and off I went :D

lol Okay, I see you're not floored by this news, what is new though, is that I've been to the sale, gone slightly nuts (haven't we all???) and got a whole bunch of lovely hair! I took them home with me and of course got busy "faerifing" them, cause that's what I do!
