Studio Sidhe @ Mee & My Roo Festivale! :D

Who would have thought that I would have become a breedable anything fan! But Meeroos are just way too cute for words... and a mate of mine game me one, so really couldn't let it die, right?

Well anyways, got way attached, and soon after was invited to be apart of the Mee & My Roo Festivale which is happening THIS WEEKEND!!!!



This set, EPIC grass mat, and 5 granny cushions with a different pose in each one is 200L for the set ... for this weekend only :D

You can however buy the cushions separately if you'd like for 50L each.

You might also notice the awesome shrooms, crystals & ruins in the background... they're from Kari who are also at the festivale so get down their quickly!

Spring Days with Studio Sidhe and Oh My Stars!

Hi Everyone!

Today a really fun hunt starts at Oh My Stars! The theme is April Showers bring May Flowers ( which totally works if you're in the Northern Hemisphere... or so I've been told! LOL).

Being an Aussie and from Queensland in particular, we don't really have four seasons, down south they have more variation, but where I am we pretty much just have summer and winter... just a fun fact I'd thought I'd throw in! :D

Anyways!

I made a wearable multipose prop for the event... a hat! :D One thing I do know about living down under is the sun!






The hat has 5 fun poses so you can look all stylish and blissful while you celebrate the season and for only 10L while the hunt is going on.

Because I suck at hunts, and think that some things should just not be painful; I've made the hunt object (a rain drop) rather large and have the pics of the 5 poses leading you to the hunt item... cause I'm nice heehee

There are some amazing stores that I'm sure you'll enjoy as you hunt around the two Oh My Stars! sims... can't wait to see your pics of all the goodies you'll pick up! :D

Studio Sidhe @ The Little Big Shop Event!!!

This year the The SL Little Big Shop Event is helping The Water Project
. A Brilliant cause who's mission is to bring clean water to over 1 Billion people who currently don't have such an essential resource. They do this one village at a time through building long term sustainable partnerships with the people of the regions in need... BRILLIANT! This is no quick fix solution, they don't just go in and throw a few barrels of water at people for a bit of publicity and then bugger off; they're in there, working with the people to change lives both now and into the future.

It's this cause that also gives this years Little Big Shop Event it's theme...water :)

Our brief was collaborate with another store that we were designated to make two items each, one to be an item with all proceeds going to charity and the other to be for sale at the Little Big Shop Fair.

I worked with a fellow Jewellery maker; Contessa Lacombe of Elemental Jewelry to make a complimentary jewellery set. Contessa made the earrings and necklace and I made the bracelet and the anklets.





All items were to be in keeping with the water theme. We chose the moon as our central design as the moon influences all things water related. We've paired this with a teardrop to symbolise emotions which the moon also influences.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Contessa; she was a pleasure to work with and always had unfailing enthusiasm for our project :) There were a few times where she needed to step out side of her comfort zone and she did it with zeal! I would recommend her to others for collaborations or inclusions in events any day... Great work! :D

I on the other hand was a nightmare to work with I'm sure... I did an excellent impersonation of a decapitated chicken while getting this fair, Fantasy Faire and Pose Fair set up!!! LOL BUT! I think that that also speaks to the caliber of Contessa's professionalism that she could take all of that in her stride and keep going!

Power Ballad Lighter 69L for Hump Day Happiness TODAY!

Hi Everyone!

Epic moments had during live music events we find are often accompanied by some legend in the audience pulling out their lighter to show just how much it means to them... then other people pull out their lighters and BAM! A whole shared moment of people FEELING THE MUSIC!!!

Can't half tell I've been hitting the live music scene in SL of late hey? haha YES! So many wonderful performances I was fortunate enough to see during the EAHH events to raise funds for Queensland's disaster relief!

Happy Australia Day :)

Hi Everyone!

Today, the 26th of January, is Australia Day, Today we wear the green and gold, have BBQ's, drink beer and thank the powers that be that we are fortunate to live in the Lucky Country...

And we are lucky, yes it would appear that Australia has been pissed on from a great height, but we have the guts, the determination and the spirit to not just drag ourselves back up but to bounce back and do it laughing... how can we do it you ask? ... cause we're Aussies, it's what we do and it's what the world knows and respects us for.

Australia is also a nation always willing to lend a hand where it's needed, and right now, we're the ones who need a bit of a helping hand:

Australia Day will be one to remember, as B&B’s sets the stage for back-to-back live music every hour of the day from 12:00am on the 26th of January right through to 11:59pm on the 27th. That’s 48 hours of incredible LIVE music!

SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALE....ZOMG! Faery is doing Summer Cleaning!!!!

If you've followed the mad capped goings on of Studio Sidhe and the crazy faery behind it all, you'll know that this really *is* a moment when in years to come people will ask you:

"Where were you when Faery Sola announced she was going to try organisation?"

In order to do this I've set up a discount area where the clothes and "does not fit elsewhere " section was, and have set everything insane prices from 1L - 60L in that area. Not everything will go away forever, but most will... I'm using this as a way finding out what kinds of stuff you guys like (things have changed a lot in the last 4 years), so I'll know more in a week or two :D


The sale will however be done by New Years and the stuff destined to be ditched will disappear forever from my store... so if you've been hanging out for something in the store, come and check it out. There are clothes, jewellery, poses, wings and um other stuff that I will probably add to it too LOL.

A Beautiful Unicorn to Celebrate the Grand Opening of a Beautiful Sim

This weekend a wonderful Grand Opening is taking place at the magical sim of Enchanted of Elven Realm.

I was approached by the lovely SeleneLily Galicia some weeks ago who asked me if I could make some unicorn poses for the sim that features unicorns... my interest was piqued, and after visiting the sim and meeting the delightful owner, Nalalie Montagne, I decided to make a unicorn pose prop instead! :D






I've made a copy version and a trans version and both are available at Enchanted for the grand opening at a special introductory price!



Also, 20% of all Studio Sidhe sales from the event will go to the Friends of Animals Fund! :D

If you haven't already heard, then you may be sitting there going HA?! That crazy bohemian faery makes jewellery and poses, she rarely make clothes, let alone couture!!!! hahaha

The Moonsong Caves Collective :D

WILD.Released! ... LAST DAY!!!!

Hi Everyone!


WILD.Released is coming to it's end. This is the absolute last chance you will ever have to get the 12 amazing prizes on offer.

To finish the hunt we decided to have a party! Moonsong Sim does everything in a rather epic way, and parties are no exception :D We have the awesome Maht Wuyts to DJ for us and there will be random gifts from some of the participating stores given out at the party :D

Flippa Stella: Flippa is amazing! for those of you that don't know, she and I met on help island way back when... we rezzed on the same day and we've been mates ever since! :D Flippa is just one of those amazing people that just doesn't get fazed by anything. I can be running around in a circle going OMFG!!!! AHHH! What am I going to do???? and she'll be there going "okay, so what do you need to get done?"... ever calm & ever ready to chip in and help out is Flippa!

Flip also built our awesome kiosks for the hunt and more recently, rescued the party when I realised I had stuffed up the timezones (yet again) & planned a party for when I would not be able to attend >.< Thank you Flippa... I cannot express just how much I appreciate you *hugs*:D

Miro Collas: You may know him from Animation Rising, but he is also the mad genius behind the system called Take Your Pick Hunt System we used for the stamp card hunt. This system came out at the beginning of the year. It was this discovery that inspired the whole concept of WILD.Released as I knew it would be the perfect way to showcase stores that are "off the beaten track"... and from all the positive feedback we've gotten, I'd say it was a fair assumption! :D

I'm sure a lot of people out there are reading this and thinking "hmm, interesting... time to organise something similar!"... I say "Go for it!". This is a system that you can make your event be what you want it to be... a word of caution though... we spent months organising this, because we wanted to do it properly, not just have some half arse, thrown together at the last minute type thing. This is a tool for your event, not the event... awesome stores and organisers (I am so putting that in, because we *are* awesome LOL!) do not come included in the box! But that is of course like any event.

I would also like to say thank you to Miro for his amazing customer support. I am the most annoying customer ever, and I can manage to break anything LOL (I didn't actually break the system though) but Miro very patently spent a considerable amount of time answering my questions and helping me problem solve as things came up. He was awesome throughout the whole process... Thank you!

The store owners: The thing that really struck me about the store owners that we invited to this event was their professionalism. In the main this was a very easy group of people to work with. It's been an enjoyable experience working with you and getting to know many of you :D Thank you!

The Bloggers: A big thank you to the bloggers who supported this event; we only had a few but apparently it was enough! :D The bloggers that did show an interest in this event where a very diverse and talented mix, it was a pleasure to see how each interpreted the prizes... Thank you!

The participants: Yup! You guys! the ones who actually made it happen, THANK YOU! seriously, we would have looked like a pack of gits sitting around our stores with lovely "WILD.Released" signs everywhere but with not a lot of point, if you guys hadn't have so enthusiastically supported us and this event :D I got to speak to a lot of people during this last month, and the feedback from the participants was great. What I loved though was how many people told me that they had discovered stores they never knew about before, or had actually been to stores that they had heard of but never actually been to. It seems a lot of people had fun doing this hunt... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! We couldn't ask for anything more :D Thank you!

I know I have thanked a whole bunch of people in groups, and would love to thank more individually... but I'm a bit sleepy. Please know though, that I appreciate everyone who has contributed to the success that WILD.Released has been.

Yup! I'm in another fair as well... the Pose Fair! Bombshell I know!!! LOL *picks you up off the floor*

This is the first pose fair SL has had (to my knowledge) which abby McDonnagh from Sassafras clued me into :D Thanks Abby!

Below is a group pose set I made especially for the fair, 50% of proceeds from these sales is going to the awesome cause Motivation. This organisation assists people with a mobility issues associated with a disability to improve their quality of life through assistive devices & remediation therapies in third world countries... BRILLIANT!



That's pretty much all from me for the moment... yes, I will be back to tell you about more wonderful WILD.Released stuff and even a few different things about to kick off at Studio Sidhe, but until then take care & have fun :D
