Surfs up!!!

New this week at Studio Sidhe, we have some fun and bright friendship bracelets for both the ladies and the men!

Don't know about you, but I made a gazillion of these growing up, I had a safety pin almost constantly attached to bunch of brightly coloured threads knotting these little gems up!

Now I'm a *cough* grown up, I've found myself making them again, only this time in photoshop... yup! this is another of my own painstaking textures... I get to say painstaking cause I placed each individual knot on the base texture! LOL

To help make things easier, these bracelets are of course mod/copy and I've put two different sizes in, so try each to see which suits better and mod from there :D

New this week, some cobwebs and spiders for the ladies! In beaten silver (the best kind of spiders ;D LOL).





And just to bring anyone up to speed who missed it... last week we bought you some lovely Halloween hair sticks....

We're getting ready for Halloween! we've got the first of our Halloween Range out... a pair of hair sticks to help you complete your outfit this Halloween. Come & Play with Studio Sidhe at the Jewellery Expo!!!!

Woooot! It's nearly here! That's right, not long to go... Expo kicks off on Sunday 5th and runs until Saturday the 11th of October [SLT].

There are so many great designers here at this years expo... I've been flying around and having a sticky beak at all the great stuff and WOW, sl is bursting at the seems with creative energy and talent, I love it!

Above you can see a quick snapshot I took of the Studio Sidhe booth... I bought a little bit of my ruins to the expo! LOL This is the first expo that we've been involved in and are really excited... so please come and check it out [HERE]

Also while your there, you might want to help out a worth cause... Heifer International. Which I must admit I'd never heard of until I went into research mode...

Basically Heifer International is a global organisation that works to find and facilitate holistic solutions to such things as world hunger, poverty and our every depleting environment through building sustainable communities... it's a great initiative. I am all for helping people out in crisis with emergency food and aide, but what happens after those supplies are gone? THIS cause I can get behind, assisting people in the present is all well and good, but sustainability is and should be, the major goal.

You can donate directly to Heifer International via their website [link above] OR you can come to the expo and buy one or some of the great things people have made to raise money. Our contribution to this is a pair of black pearl hair sticks... as the theme for this years expo is aquatic:

:+:SS:+: FUN FUN FUN @ Studio Sidhe!!! - Alphabet Beads!!!

This one is for the ladies and the men who like to have some fun!

The beads are scripted so you can choose your own letters from the drop down menu and even changed the colours... just what you need in alphabet beads, so you can spell out whatever you'd like to :D

I'd like to thank HeZkeZl Slade, who is a mad scripting genius and a good mate, for helping with this one! Anyone who knows me, knows that I nearly go fetal at the very thought of scripting anything... Hez was wonderful, helped me problem solve and fixed things so that these beads could changed between 30 textures! (no easy feat!!!)
