This weekend we're having a little bit of fun with our new release; Pandora's Box... it's a 6 scene scripted pose prop that takes you through Pandora's journey of giving into curiosity and finally... saving hope! It comes complete with particle effects and yes, hope *is* included in the box! :D

Now the really fun bit! For THIS weekend only, it's a group gift! A little thank you to our customers who are are awesomely supportive of our work and for many of them have been our customers for years! :D Thank you!

Also! Studio Sidhe Mainstore is in a new temporary location HERE We're have a new sim mate moving in so are in the midst of a little sim reshuffling... we're so excited though and can't wait to announce their opening on Moonsong!

Hello!

Lots of stuff going on, which has actually been just a tad more dispersed than it seems in this one post... but I'm slack at blogging so I'll just say very little... let the pics speak for themselves & hook you up with the relevant links... sound good?

It's also the 4th Rez Day of Flippa Stella! We met on Help Island back in the day!!! We decided to plant a tree & a plaque to commemorate... you can find both on our sim, Moonsong. You can read how it all came to be here.


I made possibly the cutest thing I've ever made... it balances on the knife edge between YAY & way to cute please to pass me the bucket... BUT! I love it! and apparently so do other people... cause they're blogging it (WOOT!) aaaaand you can get your very own LadyBug Painting pose prop for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE as part of the ProPoser Hunt .

Flipside & Studio Sidhe are proud to present.... Moonsong!

Hi everyone!

We've been working hard and now it's time to play and show off all that work!

We're having a party to celebrate the opening of Moonsong! Our very own sim where you can now find the main stores of Flipside and Studio Sidhe.

The events we have planned for the day will be loads of fun, so drop by and have a dance, listen to some great music, hunt for the little moons that will be hidden around the sim with great gifts from both Studio Sidhe and Flipside AND pick up a special sim opening gift! :D

Studio Sidhe... A new adventure :D

For those of you that missed the news... Flippa Stella [Flipside] & myself have moved to our very own sim!

It's called Moonsong. Named in honour of the Goddess Moon. A multi-pose prop which you might remember featured in the collaborative photographic competition held by Evie Miles of Evie's Closet and Studio Sidhe a few months ago. It was my first project I worked on when I purchased Poser earlier this year and it was a raging success... so much so, that now I have a sim! haha crazy isn't it?

My pose making has been so warmly welcomed by the people of SL which has given me the confidence to branch out and expand. To be honest, I'm totally floored by the reception; given there are so many awesome and well established pose makers here. I am touched and humbled at the support I have, and appreciate it beyond words... thank you :)

While poses are something that I have taken to like a duck to water, I will continue to let my imagination and creativity lead me to make whatever it is I am inspired to do... be that jewellery, accessories, quirky fun stuff, clothes or whatever.

I would like to say heart felt thank you to Glyph Torok, our previous land lord & truly beautiful lady in every way. She has just been amazing & I have so enjoyed and appreciated being a part of the Chocolate Orange experience (We sank a pirate ship off the coast of Moonsong as a homage to Chocolate Orange :D)

I would also like to say a special thank you to Elizabeth Tinsley and the Oubliette crew for inviting us to move our sim next door... we are going to have loads of fun!!! :D

I look forward to seeing you at the new sim, you'll see my new mains tore and go "what the???" I'm sure! I swear I must have been way zoomed out for most of the structural stuff because it's HUGE hahahaha BUT! everyone who's seen it so far things the layout is logical and easy to navigate... so I hope you enjoy!

I do of course have many lovely secret places for your to find and explore (would it be my store if it didn't? ;))

Christmas @ Studio Sidhe

I put up my RL Christmas tree the other day and decided that I should dig out my virtual one from my inventory... It's soooooooo much less hassle and mess to set up pixels trees isn't it? LOL

I've put some gift boxes under the tree which contain store cards at a discounted price that is sure to make Christmas gift choosing and buying somewhat less painful... that is of course if your like me and tend to lack time, just can't think what your mates DON'T have yet yada yada. For me store cards are a god send!

Studio Sidhe Grand Reopening THIS Saturday!!!

We are proud to present a brand new store and look for Studio Sidhe!

As you may be aware, we have been working hard the last few weeks to create a new store that is fun, interesting and more reflective of the proprietor, Faery Sola. We've joined forces with Elemental Forestry to create a truly unique experience for you :)

The build itself is influenced by a number of sources; and we've arrived at something that IS very fae with something for everyone.

Please join us on Saturday 3pm slt for the celebrations, we will be having a dj, dancing, a new group gift, new releases AND a 50% store card sale!

Studio Sidhe has a Shiny New Look!

I know! what is this... look No.256 for Studio Sidhe??? No I'm not THAT bad... but this is it, the one... I finally reached a point where I had the tools (yay for PS and graphics tablet!), the land AND the prims to do exactly what I wanted!!! *happy dance*

I do want to say thank you to a few people because, lets face it... very little of what we do in SL is on our own :o) I have included links to everyones stores for ease of reference should you be looking for similar services or products or just because they have stores and that's where you can find them LOL :o)

Studio Sidhe Joins the Autism Speaks in Second Life Campaign

Ok, so last week end I was supposed to hold my Grand Opening for my new store at Alpha Centauri, but due to technical difficulties had to postpone it until this weekend... LUCKILY! It was so one of those "meant to be" things, because during the week I found out about this wonderful cause that Daphne Molinari has bought to SL; Autism Speaks in Second Life.


Since reading Daphne's blog and contacting her, I have been busy setting up a combined event to both celebrate the opening of my new mainstore and raise funds for Autism Speaks. We will be holding a scavenger hunt at our new store tonight, Friday at 5pm SLT. The event will run for two hours and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks =D.


You'll find a Kiosk at the store which allows you to donate directly to Autism Speaks in SL. We have also made a t-shirt to promote this cause (see pics) in two different versions. ALL of the money raised from the sale of the t-shirts will go to this cause AND we've also made a Free placard with sign hold animation and script to link you up with the Autism speaks website, so you can show your support and help to spread the word!

Now for the scavenger hunt details!:
You'll be looking for boxes, each one containing a store card valued at between $10L and $300L. (see pic)

Our Main Store Has Moved!!!

We have a MUCH bigger store that we've just built at Alpha Centauri... it was a bit sad to leave Stradtrand, I think being the first land we bought, you kind of get attached. But it was time to move on and scratching for prims has a way of forcing the issue LOL.

I really like our new location, it's by the ocean and has a great airy feel to it... everyone that has dropped by while building and moving was going on has commented on that, so I'm happy :)

Studio Sidhe has some room to grow here, and it's when I contemplate just how far we've come, I am very proud to say "yup! that's me, 'THE Sidhe'" =D

I had originally planned a great event to mark the opening this weekend, but due to a number of factors that has had to be postponed until next weekend. I'll let you know the all the details sooner to the big day!

Grand Opening of the new Fuzzy sim Mall!!!!

This weekend to celebrate the grand opening of Fuzzy Mall there is a HUGE side walk sale... I have placed selected items out the front of my store at 50% off :o)



This is an exciting new mall and am proud to say that Studio Sidhe is a part of the fun! The mall owner is Popfuzz Bamboo, she is great... for those of you that don't know her; she's lovely, creative,fair, gets stuff done, has a head for business, and is EASY to work with... all the things you want in a mall owner!!!
